About DayLens

Record a short video diary, capture a transcript if the browser supports live speech recognition, then convert it into a structured daily brief with highlights, lessons, task candidates, and early life-dimension signals.

Capture Front-camera diary recording with a simple session timer and local playback.
Interpret Browser transcript when available, plus a fallback text area so the review still works anywhere.
Reflect A generated daily brief that can later map into metrics, trends, and planning.
Prompt What happened today? What shifted your mood? What mattered most?
Learning What did you notice, learn, or realize that is worth remembering later?
Follow-through Say tasks out loud naturally. The prototype tries to pull them into a task queue shape.
DayLens v0.3.0

Multiple entries per day, improved brief generation (position weighting, expanded task patterns, auto-title), delete confirmation, JSON import/export, and installable as a PWA. All data stays in-browser.

  • Phase 2: Upload video/audio to a local Whisper transcription endpoint.
  • Phase 2: AI summarization and dimension scoring (local LLM or optional cloud).
  • Phase 3: Supabase sync for multi-device access (when/if needed).
